Destination: Camden Market

Camden Market is hands down one of the best places to visit in London. Food, dancing, shopping! It’s a hub of creative beings bouncing off of each other. One of my best friends took me to Camden Market and I was not prepared for such innovation.

I wish I could’ve really taken quality pictures and given you guys an in depth post of how amazing this market really is, but nevertheless Camden Market needs to be exposed for all of its beauty.

While I was in London, I went to Camden Market three times, but the first time was the best. I was getting a tour from my best friend and she was adamant about going. I had no expectations. After getting off the tube at Camden Town I was blown away. We walked for about ten minutes through one of the most colorful streets, with the most colorful people, and we hadn’t even reach the market!

When we finally arrived I was blown away by the art, the fashion, and most importantly the food. Being a foodie, of course I was immediately captivated by not only the amount of vendors at the market, but how diverse they all were. Each had its own unique spin. The amount of options you had from drinks to desserts to was astounding.

The majority of the art vendors there were millennials, so the art was based on recent pop culture, which I adored. After being scolded for taking a picture of a painting (rightfully so) I learned my lesson of the struggling artist’s plight. So you’ll just have to go see how incredible the art is first hand.

One thing I noticed about the clothing stores, was that each of them catered to a very specific niche. There was not one shop that catered to every taste, you either hate it or you love it. If you ever get the chance to go please do yourself a favor, it is such an enriching experience, and I guarantee you’ll find at least one thing you love.
